FACILITY PILING – Grande Prairie, Alberta

Subsurface Construction Corporation was retained to supply and install over 1,000 steel pipe piles. Pile sizes variety from 6” in diameter to 12” in diameter. These foundations were needed to support a variety of infrastructure including: pipe racks, compressors, flare stacks, and related buildings. Specific Components of this scope of work included but was not limited to:

Scope of Work

  • Installation of over 1,000 driven piles
  • Pre-drilling of over 1,000 holes to allow for piling operations to continue in stiff ground conditions
  • Provision of technical engineering support for pile acceptance, equipment selection, and analysis
